Consultative Services Overview

F&S radiologists believe in a team approach to medicine and proactively collaborate with referring physicians and with each other on cases. Radiologists return calls quickly, and if the interpreting radiologist is not available, there is always a specialist who has immediate access to the report and images who can quickly consult with a physician. In addition to providing high quality subspecialty reports and a proactive collaborative approach that meet the needs of referring physicians, it is Franklin & Seidelmann’s belief that the best way to serve as our client’s radiology partner is to also provide a wide variety of consultative services in order to help them be as successful and profitable as possible. A team of client support representatives (CSR’s), technologists, IT, credentialing/licensing, operations, account management, marketing and billing staff provide consultative services to F&S clients as needed. These services often take the form of advanced MRI and CT protocol development, physician credentialing assistance, modality acquisition recommendations, site policy and procedure guidelines, DICOM connectivity set up, radiologists and subspecialty radiology marketing collateral and physician referral building programs.

AccuRad™ is a proprietary Web-based radiology workflow system that manages the process of creating and distributing radiology reports. F&S provides clients with online report access as a value added service. Clients can conveniently view their reports and key images online as well as check the status of the report. They can also enable referring physicians to view their patient reports and images as well. Clients can manage the process for how they would like to receive reports with options such as fax, online access or encrypted e-mail. AccuRad is HIPAA compliant.
